OLED's self-emissive pixels deliver perfect blacks and infinite contrast. This means incredibly deep blacks and stunningly vibrant colors, resulting in a level of detail that's simply unmatched by other technologies.

• HDR movies, especially those in Dolby Vision, look absolutely spectacular. The detail in dark scenes is astonishing, revealing subtleties previously hidden on other TVs.
• The 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) and 10-bit color depth create incredibly realistic and lifelike images.
• LG's Dolby Vision IQ dynamically optimizes picture settings based on ambient light, further enhancing the viewing experience.

Brightness and Viewing Angles

While OLEDs haven't traditionally been known for their peak brightness, the LG C3 holds its own. While it won't compete with the brightest LED-backlit LCDs in a brightly lit room, it’s more than sufficient for most viewing scenarios. Viewing angles are excellent; the picture remains vibrant and accurate even when viewed from the side.

• Compared to my previous LG C1 OLED, the C3 shows a noticeable improvement in brightness, particularly in HDR content.
